BRUNSWICK, GA (June 23, 2025) -- At their June 18th Commission meeting, the Brunswick City Commission recognized Keep Golden Isles Beautiful for community contributions in the areas of litter prevention, waste reduction and recycling, community greening, water resource awareness and education.
An educational nonprofit serving the Golden Isles community since 1979, KGIB’s 2-person paid staff recruits volunteers, cultivates partnerships and enlists supporters to assist in carrying out the organization’s community betterment activities and projects.
A Keep America Beautiful and Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation local affiliate, KGIB works closely with both the City of Brunswick and Glynn County governments.
