KGIB Annual Electronics Recycling & More Event Slated for September 12th

 BRUNSWICK, GA - (August 12, 2026) – Keep Golden Isles Beautiful’s annual Electronics Recycling & More Event takes place RAIN OR SHINE on Saturday, September 12th, 9AM-NOON in a NEW LOCATION: Ballard Complex off Old Jesup Road ***ENTER off Community Road via Nimitz Drive ONLY.

PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY!

For a $5 suggested donation per automobile, electronics, textiles, batteries and scrap metal recycling and a prescription drug drop-off will be available. ($20 per TV fee, no console or projection TVs; $10 per CRT (chunky/cube) monitor; no small appliances; clean/useable textiles only).

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• NEW LOCATION: Ballard Complex off Old Jesup Road

• NO sensitive document shredding

• NO light bulbs will be accepted

• NO tires accepted

• Remain in vehicle

• Rain or shine

“Many community partners and volunteers come together to make this important waste reduction community outreach event happen,” said KGIB board chairman Ben Brewton. “Again we emphasize not arriving early, as that causes logistical complications that prevents the event from running smoothly.”
