June 6th World Oceans Day Cleanups Planned for Jekyll and St. Simons Islands

BRUNSWICK, GA (May 11^th, 2026) – Join Keep Golden Isles Beautiful, BEACH.COM, Colonel K-9’s Dog Doo Disposal and the Hampton Inn, Jekyll Island in World Oceans Day beach cleanups on two different Golden Isles islands!  Local volunteers will join the ranks of others around the globe in this June internationally recognized beach cleanup effort.

JEKYLL ISLAND, Saturday, June 6^th at 8AM – meet inside Hampton Inn & Suites, Jekyll Island lobby to receive supplies and instruction (200 S Beachview Drive, Jekyll Island)

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Saturday, June 6^th at 9AM – meet at the Old Coast Guard Station beach crossover to receive supplies and instruction (First Street, St. Simons Island)

REGISTER ONLINE at BEACH.COM/CLEANUPS to receive an official BEACH.COM t-shirt. Volunteers NOT interested in t-shirts are welcome to show up for the cleanup without registering.

All ages and abilities are welcome, and all cleanup supplies will be provided. Sunscreen and hats are suggested.
