Heather Wilson joins KGIB staff


BRUNSWICK, GA (October 19, 2022)Heather Wilson has been named Keep Golden Isles Beautiful executive assistant, following Christy Trowbridge who served in the position for over a decade.


Originally from the west coast, Wilson has been a Georgia resident since 2008 and a Golden Islander since 2014. She earned an AAS from Wiregrass Technical College in Valdosta GA and has been an active volunteer with KGIB since 2016. Passionate about youth education, Wilson looks forward to engaging Golden Isles area youth in impactful community betterment projects and efforts and equipping them to make positive differences in our coastal community.


A wife and mother of three wonderful girls, Wilson has volunteered on several PTA boards in Glynn County and has also been a Girl Scouts volunteer and archery instructor since 2015. She brings to KGIB experience in event planning, customer service, and non-profit fundraising. Wilson’s tenure working as a Girl Scouts regional staff member instilled in her the importance of supporting volunteers and working together to make our community a better place.
