BRUNSWICK, GA (March 26, 2024) – Join friends, neighbors and visitors to Make A Difference in this now semi-annual JEKYLL ISLAND CLEANUP on Monday, April 15th.

Touted as a “Day of Impact,” the Jekyll Island Cleanup is scheduled for 10AM-NOON and will see litter cleanup volunteers fan out across the barrier island to remove litter and debris. All cleanup supplies will be provided, and all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Hats, sunscreen, bug spray and close toe shoes are recommended.

“We’ve been busy organizing and are excited to again host this now annual litter cleanup effort,” said event spokesperson Glenn Cook of Jekyll Island. “The Rotary Club of Jekyll Island is extremely grateful to our event partners and to those who will come out and lend a hand, to help keep our beautiful island pristine.”
