IS TRASH REALLY TRASH? INTERACTIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

Taking a closer at what is considered “trash,” the Is Trash Really Trash? FREE in-school educational program delves into the concepts of waste reduction, recycling, landfills, dumps, product life spans and more.

A lively and interactive 45 minute presentation, Is Trash Really Trash? targets 3rd graders but can be tailored for any age group. The presentation equips students with waste reduction knowledge and strategies that can be put into action immediately. Students learn skills to aid in deciding whether an item is really “trash” or if a better end solution exists.

Is Trash Really Trash? is presented each September/October to all Glynn County public school third grade classes. Upon request, it is presented to private and homeschool third grade classes during January/February of each year.

Materials used in this program are made possible by Hello GoodBuy  community grant funds and is sponsored by Georgia Sea Grill.
