SITE LEADER TRAINING
Make a difference in the Golden Isles as a volunteer Site Leader at Keep Golden Isles Beautiful community cleanup events. Site leaders represent KGIB at organized cleanups and give direction, distribute supplies, register volunteers and provide staff with post-cleanup reports. KGIB provides all of the needed supplies, arranges for debris removal, and organizes/publicizes the cleanup efforts.

In order to extend community reach, Keep Golden Isles Beautiful offers volunteer site leader training sessions and welcomes all who want to learn more about this unique volunteer opportunity. Attendees will learn more about the ins and outs of KGIB park/roadside/beach/marsh cleanups and have all questions answered.

“With only two KGIB staff members, volunteer site leaders are crucial to increasing the number of community cleanups we host annually,” said KGIB executive director Lea King-Badyna. “Volunteer site leaders can lead just one or multiple cleanups. The more KGIB volunteer site leaders, the greater number of community cleanups and coverage we can provide.” Interested potential site leaders are asked to express their interest at info.kbgib@gmail.com or 912-279-1490. All ages and abilities are welcome and encouraged to register for the next TBA Site Leader Training session.
